Washington Aerospace Scholars (WAS) is a two-part program for high school juniors (as of Fall 2024) focused on the history and future exploration of space by NASA and topics in Earth and Space Science.
WAS offers hands-on engineering activities, direct interaction with STEM industry professionals and access to a national alumni network, all while building new friendships, developing networking skills and having a ton of fun! You'll even have the opportunity to earn 5 University of Washington college credits, all at no cost to you!
Excited to learn more? Attend a WAS Info Night!
You'll hear from the WAS team about what the program is all about, hear from past students and families on their experience, you'll learn what to expect and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
