Blue Angel Viewing
Throughout the duration of the Seafair Festival, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be stationed at the King County International Airport terminal (north end of Boeing Field). Unfortunately, this means that we won't be able to see the pilots' walk down ceremonies, but the planes will take off right in front of the Museum. Viewing of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ take-offs and landings takes place outside in our closed off Main Parking Lot along Boeing Field’s fence-line. Access on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4 requires Museum admission.
Visitors may bring in blankets or low-back folding chairs (see graphic below) for viewing. To qualify as a low-back folding chair it must be no more than 9 inches from the ground to the seat and no more than 26 inches from the top of the chair to the ground.
Visitors may not bring the following: tall chairs, camping chairs, tables, umbrellas, coolers, canopies, or ladders.
Note: The Museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items placed outside and/or unattended.
