Learn about the Hampshire College Summer Studies in Mathematics (HCSSiM) and its impact on American mathematicians during a documentary film screening of Hunting Yellow Pigs, co-hosted by Seattle Universal Math Museum. HCSSiM is a six-week program for high school students founded by the late Hampshire College Professor David Kelly. Yellow Pigs Day is a holiday created by Kelly to celebrate the number 17 and is celebrated on July 17 each year.
