STEM Starters is a program series geared specifically for our youngest Museum Members. Up to 12 children (ages 3 to 5) and their one adult co-pilot are invited to explore the wonders of aerospace during this fun, educational program.


Date: Tuesday, March 17, 2026
Theme: Wild About Weather!

Is today a good day to fly? Participants and their grown-ups will explore weather and learn how a pilot thinks about it when they fly. Program includes story time, making a measuring tool for wind and time for experimenting! 

Available Time Slots: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM or 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Registration Opens ONE MONTH before the STEM Starters Session!

To register your STEM Starter, please email the following to Membership@museumofflight.org:

  • Your name
  • Member number
  • Preferred Time Slot
  • Name & age of your learner

Please Note: Due to very limited space and resources, we cannot make accommodations for children who do not fall between the 3-5 age range or permit more than one adult helper to attend the lesson. Museum personnel are not to provide supervision nor are responsible for client participants, an adult must be present to supervise their children. Children not registered for this event are not permitted inside the event space, this includes siblings of registered children.
