Join us for an exclusive Member-only adventure through the stars in our Winter Solstice Planetarium program! Designed for curious explorers aged 6 to 10. In this Winter Solstice planetarium show, we will explore the historical significance of the solstice to ancient cultures and the effects of the Northern Hemisphere's tilt away from the sun on Earth's axis, discovering the science and mythologies behind the shortest day of the year -- the Winter Solstice.

Time: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Space is limited! Reservations are required to participate in the planetarium. To register your child for the lesson, please email the following to Membership@museumofflight.org:
- Your name
- Member number
- Preferred Time Slot
- Name of your Child
- Age of your Child (6 to 10 years old)*
Before RSVPing for the event, please note the following:
- All participants will need a guardian over 18 years of age to accompany them during the lesson.
- Due to extremely limited space in the planetarium, we cannot make accommodations for children who do not fall between the 6-10 age range or permit more than one adult helper to attend the lesson.
- Be aware that the planetarium requires sitting on the floor close to other participants in an enclosed space. Participants (or their adult) who may be sensitive to noise or motion may find the planetarium challenging. Please plan accordingly.
- Museum personnel are not to provide supervision nor are responsible for client participants, an adult must be present to supervise their children. Children not registered for this event are not permitted inside the event space, this includes siblings of registered children.
