Join us for a powerful evening of music and history as The Museum of Flight and Classical KING co-host a special event highlighting Victory Verticals: Pianos That Went To War.
This unique program features collector and historian Frank Haude, whose passion for World War II artifacts led to the restoration of three rare Steinway & Sons Victory Vertical pianos—compact instruments built for troops during the war. Through conversation led by Classical KING’s Dave Beck and a live performance by Lisa Bergman, guests will explore the remarkable journey of these pianos from the battlefield to the concert stage, and the enduring role of music in times of conflict and resilience.
Don’t miss this moving tribute to history, craftsmanship, and the power of music to uplift the human spirit!
