About the Performers
Ladies Musical Club (LMC), Seattle’s oldest musical organization, celebrated its 125th Quasquicentennial in 2016 and its 130th in 2021. Founded in 1891 by a group of 22 intrepid women musicians, its original mission was to foster an appreciation of classical music in the cultural life of a city that was just starting to find its identity.
CenterPlay is a unique, 5-piece jazz combo playing standards and originals. This ambassador ensemble shares Music Center’s mission to bring music to everyone in our community. Music Center of the Northwest is a non-profit community music school located in North Seattle.
Kevin Fox comes from a family of musicians, now 5th generation, with a bachelors degree in piano performance. He serves on the boards of Music Center of the Northwest, ArtsFund, and Classical KING fm.
