STEM Starters is a program series geared specifically for our youngest Museum Members. Up to 12 children (ages 3 to 5) and their one adult co-pilot are invited to explore the wonders of aerospace during this fun, educational program.

Date: Monday, September 25, 2023
Theme:  Light & Shadows

After listening to a story about light and dark, we will explore how shadows are made depending on the location of the light source. Participants will have time to explore making shadows with their grown-ups using flashlights and manipulatives. An outdoor adventure of careful looking at shadows and where the sun is in the sky (weather depending) will also be planned. A shadow puppet activity will be offered as a take home activity to explore more at home.
