Get ready for a performance that’s truly out-of-this-world.

What happens when five musicians and former NASA Astronauts team up with a vocalist? You get Bandella! Get ready for a performance that’s truly out-of-this-world. Bandella is an all-spacefarer music group founded in a basement bar in Star City, Russia in 2003 by NASA astronauts Chris Hadfield, Cady Coleman and Steve Robinson as they trained for their trip to the ISS. Bandella has been performing for over 18 years.

But music isn’t their day job. While performing two sets of professionally-rendered folk, Americana, bluegrass and jazz music, the band shares tales from their years in the astronaut corps, complete with a Q&A session. Featuring inspired vocals, acoustic guitars, flute, stand-up bass, piano and an occasional banjo, Bandella’s music nods to astronaut life in ways both subtle and authentic.

We are so excited for Bandella to bring their musical stylings to Earthlings with two performances at The Museum of Flight!

Note: The Museum's galleries will be closed to attendees during the concerts. General Museum admission is not included in the concert ticket price.
