Have you ever wondered how VR experiences are created? Come get an introduction to the world of 3D modeling and virtual reality development!
In the first half of this workshop, students will first learn the basics of Tinkercad, a 3D modeling software, to create their own unique, digital "sculpture." In the second half of the workshop, students will import their sculpture into a pre-designed world in Unity, a development platform, and then experience that world--and their sculpture--in VR.
Due to the safety of using virtual reality headsets, this workshop is for ages 10+ only--student must already be 10 years old on March 21, no exceptions. Students aged 13 and younger also require an adult chaperone.
$20 per Connections member. Financial assistance is available.
