Join Orca Racing on October 5th, 2019 for their brand new, fun 5k and kids race celebrating aviation. This race starts and finishes at the Museum and includes free admission to the museum for all participants. Just like all Orca Running races your entry fee includes chip timing, free professional photo downloads, a participant shirt and finisher's medal. They're also donating a portion of all proceeds to a local charity.

The Museum will open at 9:00AM for all race attendees, and is FREE for participants.


Traffic & Parking Advisory

Due to the race course running along East Marginal Way South, Museum access will be impacted until 10:00 AM.

  • Access allowed from the North until 8:00 AM. From the south until 8:15 AM.
  • Race starts at 8:30 AM.
  • No West side (Space Gallery & Aviation Pavilion) parking available in the AM.
  • Metro service re-routed to Airport Way at Norfolk (Randy's)
  • East Marginal Way S to reopen both directions no later than 10:00 AM.
