Through engaging career panels, mentorship sessions, and confidence-building workshops, participants will be encouraged to find their voice, define their goals, and see themselves in the cockpit, control tower, lab, or launchpad.

The day also features hands-on, interactive STEM activities tailored to middle and high-school learners—explore aircraft up close, try flight-based simulations, tackle engineering design challenges, and connect with local and regional aviation clubs, flight schools, aerospace companies, and university programs at our high-energy Fly Fair.

Whether you dream of flying, designing aircraft, exploring space, or leading innovation in aerospace technology, Girls in Aviation Day is where passion meets possibility—and where the next generation of women in aviation begins.

The Museum is committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive aviation and aerospace industry. We are devoted to enriching the future by welcoming all youth regardless of their race, national origin, ethnicity, disability, gender or sexual orientation.
