Girls in Aviation Day is a dynamic, one-day STEM experience designed to inspire middle and high-school youth to explore exciting careers in aviation and aerospace. Combining the energy of the Museum’s annual Women Fly event and the global spirit of WAI Girls in Aviation Day, this empowering event connects future leaders with the mentors, role models, and real-world opportunities that help dreams take flight and realize the sky is unlimited for all.
The Museum is committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive aviation and aerospace industry. We are devoted to enriching the future by welcoming all youth regardless of their race, national origin, ethnicity, disability, gender or sexual orientation.

Girls in Aviation Day 2026 was a partnership between The Museum of Flight’s annual Women Fly event and the multi-faceted international youth program called Aviation for Girls, exclusively designed by Women in Aviation International (WAI) to inspire youth year-round to learn about STEM and career possibilities.
