Museum Member Exclusive!

Join the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History and The Museum of Flight for a special evening of stories and conversation on America’s nuclear deterrent.

Listen in as docents from both institutions relay their stories of life during the Cold War and beyond. Learn how Boeing’s B-47 Stratojet was America’s frontline nuclear bomber that behaved like a fighter! Hear about standing nuclear alert in a B-52. Then learn how the U.S. Navy kept America’s shores safe using propeller-driven aircraft in the jet age. Finally, see how the A-6 Intruder served as one of the premier strike fighters in the nuclear navy.

This event is a special opportunity for Museum members to learn from the people who have “been there and done that.”

Event starts at 6:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM MST.
