March Stories:

Sunday, March 1 | 1:00 PM - Mythenjäger: Setting the Record Straight on German WWII Aerospace Myth, Legends, and Rumors
There are plenty of rumors and myths about the capabilities of German aerospace technology during WWII. Did a German four engine bomber come within 12 miles of the U.S. shoreline and return unharmed? Did German pilots at the end of the war fly manned versions of the V-1 cruise missile to ram Allied bombers in suicide missions? Did Germany launch V-2 missiles from submarines in preparation to bomb the U.S. East Coast? Were German jets just weeks away from overpowering Allied bombers and turning the outcome of the war? German born spacecraft propulsion engineer and Museum of Flight Docent Dr. Dieter M. Zube will shed some light to sort through the available evidence and set the record straight on these and other stories that continue to capture the imagination of the interested public.

Sunday, March 15 | 1:00 PM - The Battle of Britain
Larry Kanaster provides an overview about the Battle of Britain and the resilience and resistance by everyday people in the face of destruction.
