It's almost time for Seafair, and that means the Blue Angels are coming back to The Museum of Flight, and will be parked closer than ever before! See them here July 29 thru August 4 (Including Jet Blast Bash weekend).
The United States Navy's Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron has always been a favorite centerpiece of Seattle's annual Seafair celebration. As in year's past, the Museum is host the planes and pilots during their stay, but this year is different--the Blue Angels are in our very own parking lot, offering an up-close-and-personal view.
CAUTION: Running jets can cause noise and exhaust hazards. Please wear ear and eye protection.
Blue Angels Week activities are FREE with Museum admission.
In addition to being at the Museum all week long, the Blue Angels will begin their show practice flights on Thursday and Friday, and we'll have some fascinating presentations including photographer, author, and SR-71 Blackbird pilot Brian Shul as well as Museum docent-led Blue Angels history talks. Then, come back this weekend for Jet Blast Bash!
