Spike & the Impalers
Spike & the Impalers, formed over a decade ago by radio host Bob Rivers and his co-host Spike O’Neill, this classic-rock flame thrower continues to make friends and fans as they tour the Puget Sound region. The band features O’Neill on lead vocals and the rock solid rhythm section of drummer Jeff Kathan formerly of The Paul Rodgers Band, and bassist Lynn Sorensen formerly of Bad Company and The Paul Rodgers Band. They have built their reputation by giving the people what they want – straight ahead classic rock. Steve Hanna brings his incredible guitar and keyboard talents to the stage, along with the guitar stylings of Manuel Morais. The band's live sound is completed by the soaring vocals of Susan Kendall-Morais and the scorching saxophone of Scott “Junior” Adams, formerly of the Ann Wilson Band.
We're groovy baby! Magic Bus is a retro-rock and roll band based in Seattle, Washington. Formed by Lynn Sorensen in 1992, this band has traveled throughout North America for 21 years performing every kind of venue and event. From the first show at the Moose Lodge in Port Angeles, Washington, to the Major League Baseball All Star Game in Cleveland, from stadiums to night clubs, to casinos to...a back yard Bar Mitzvah (they were seriously trying to impress the other kids), we've done it all! As the years have come and gone, the Bus has become a fun project for some the band members who are also internationally touring musicians. Lynn Sorensen, bass player/lead vocalist/violinist toured the world with Bad Company and Paul Rodgers Solo Band. Jeff Kathan, drummer, also played with Paul Rodgers Solo Band. Steve Hanna, guitar/keys/vocals and Manuel Morais, guitar/vocals, round out the group. Lynn, Steve, Jeff and Manuel also play in a Seattle favorite, Spike and the Impalers, with Spike O'Neill of the Nate and Spike Show on KZOK radio as well as working in some other fun projects.
