Bring the wonder of flight to your school with this high-energy, interactive assembly!

The Flying Gizmo Show introduces learners to the science and history of flight and aviation using a variety of flying toys, models, and demonstrations. From parachutes, to rockets, learners will see flight in action—and some may even get the chance to be part of the show! The Flying Gizmo Show is perfect for Kindergarten through 5th grade.

The Show engages learners through lively demonstrations while introducing key STEM concepts that are memorable and perfectly suited for elementary students.

PLEASE NOTE: The Flying Gizmo Show requires a large space that can safely accommodate all program participants, like an auditorium or gymnasium. Access to power, a projector or large screen, and voice amplification is also required. Educators bring their own laptop, but an HDMI connection to a projector or screen is required.

Program Details: 

Grade Level: Kindergarten through 5th grade 
Program Length: 1-hour 
Maximum Group Size: 300 student participants

Fee: $450 
Each Additional Show: $200

Additional fees may apply for multiple location visits on a single day. Fees may be applied for travel to sites located more than 40 miles from The Museum of Flight. Program reservations that do not meet the required minimums may be charged an administrative fee. 

*To receive the $200 discounted fee, additional shows must occur on the same day as the first show.

What do I need to provide to have The Flying Gizmo Show at my location?

This program requires a large space that can safely accommodate all program participants, like auditoriums and gymnasiums. Will an adult from the booking organization need to be present?

Yes, adult supervision from the booking organization must always be present during programs.

How soon can I make my reservation?

Programs must be requested at least two weeks prior to the date(s) you would like to reserve but sooner is better.

What is your cancellation policy? 

Cancellations made more than seven days in advance of the scheduled program date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within seven days of the program date, including no-shows, are eligible for a refund minus a $50 administrative fee.

When is payment due?

Payment is due at least two weeks prior to your program date(s). Payment can be made over the phone by credit card (preferred) or purchase order (PO).
