Physical Accessibility
The Museum is fully ADA-compliant, all exhibits and galleries are fully wheelchair-accessible (including restrooms) and courtesy wheelchairs are available for use. Our 3D movies are captioned, when available (please check listings). Accessible parking is available for both the East and West campus locations.

Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at the Museum. Service animals are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Pets and emotional support animals are not considered service animals and are not allowed.
Admission
We offer free admission to for a caregiver accompanying a visitor with a disability.

Benches are located throughout the Museum.
Courtesy Wheelchairs

Noise Reduction Earmuffs
Noise Reduction Earmuffs for use during Museum visits are available to checkout at the Museum’s admission desk, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sensory Days
Sensory Days at The Museum of Flight are a free program for adults and families of children, teenagers and young adults with disabilities including intellectual disabilities, autism, sensory processing disorders and other cognitive disabilities. On select mornings or afternoons, pre-registered guests can visit the Museum before it opens or after it is closed to the public, where they can explore and self-guide through galleries with adjusted light and sound.
Tours for the Blind
We offer curated tours for our Museum guests who are blind or low-vision. Specially trained Docents will take you right next to planes on exhibit to learn about aircraft shapes, lines, designs and features by touching airplane models and real aircraft in our collection. The Docent also tells the histories and provides visual descriptions of the artifacts on display in the gallery.

Social Narrative
Our Social Narrative is a resource for guests on the autism spectrum who may benefit from descriptions and pictures that show what a typical visit to The Museum of Flight is like. The Museum of Flight is committed to providing a website that is accessible to everyone. To further this commitment, we've started the process of improving our website following Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA, which provides standards for making content more accessible for all visitors, including people with disabilities.
