Special? Yes, and tailored just for girls!

Amelia’s Aero Club (AAC) inspires middle school girls (6th–8th grade) to become the next generation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) professionals.

Using a series of personal growth experiences, members think critically, take risks, get creative, and problem-solve. AAC exposes students to high-demand careers and develops confidence and resilience so members recognize that a future in STEM is a viable and attainable option.

Each AAC session offers (5) five events:

  • Glo UP Aviatrix - Come for an hour of sisterhood; lean-in to absorb tips, tricks, and challenges from industry leaders as they continually push boundaries.
  • Lashes ‘N Lab Coats - Immerse yourself in a highly-engaging, hands-on, lab-like experience, where you're in the driver’s seat.
  • Your Footsteps – Together, we'll grow your grit, resilience, perseverance, responsibility and accountability. Lean in to learning about education and career pathways from the perspective of a high school or college-age student.
  • Field Trip – We’ll get on the road to engage in a new environment and broaden our perceptions.
  • #Squadgoals Event  – Join your AAC squad to bond at a special invitation-only event.

By leveraging expertise, resources and partnerships we have created a highly engaging experience just for you. AAC Members go on to serve as role models for their peers and emerge as effective leaders who are invested in shaping their own future and the future of their community.
