The first successful flight around the world began in Seattle on April 6, 1924.

It was a four-plane, five-month mission that put the U.S. Army Air Service on the global stage. To celebrate the event’s 100th anniversary, Boeing Corporate Historian Michael Lombardi will present the details of this "Moonshot of the 1920s,” and its connections to Seattle and The Boeing Company.
