SEATTLE, March 11, 2014--Soaring Expo, the Seattle Glider Council's annual celebration of the world of silent flight, is at The Museum of Flight the weekend of March 22-23. Special exhibits include full-size gliders, radio-controlled gliders, flight simulators and a full-scale mock-up of a revolutionary glider being developed to break the world altitude record for unpowered aircraft. Representatives of local flight clubs will be on hand to answer questions about the sport of soaring and how to become a glider pilot. The events are free with admission to the Museum.
