Celebrate human space exploration and honor the first man in space Yuri Gagarin!

As part of our Yuri’s Night celebration, help us celebrate human space exploration with daytime family activities, local space organizations, virtual reality, 360° photobooth, our Spacesuit Design Challenge Top 15 Fashion Show, and so much more!

At 2:00 PM, Bill McCutcheon, Museum Docent and Speaker's Bureau lecturer, will present "After Apollo, What Next? - The Space Shuttle and International Space Station."

Family activities will include:
  • Weekend Family Workshops
  • MarsVR Project VR demos (ages 10+)
Exhibitors will include:
  • Mars Society
  • National Space Society
  • Mission Spaceflight (maker of IVA suits)
  • National Association of Rocketry
  • North Seattle Rocketry Club

All activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. are included with Museum admission.
