The Museum of Flight offers a comprehensive range of benefits to its employees with competitive coverage for a non-profit organization of its size.
Our enriched PPO health plan pays for 99% of monthly medical, dental and vision premiums and 65% of the monthly premiums for employee dependents.
Life and Disability Insurance
Our life and disability insurance plan pays for 100% of monthly premiums for life, short-term disability, accidental death & dismemberment and business travel insurance.
403B – Pre-tax Deductions from Pay
Our employees can immediately participate in the voluntary portion of the tax-shelter plan and the Museum also offers a company-matching portion, which is available after one year of employment with a minimum of 1,000 hours worked.
The employee is required to contribute to the plan in order to participate in the company matching plan of 2% plus 0.05% for each year of service which is taken as a pretax deduction from pay. The company then matches by contributing 4% plus 0.1% for each year of service.
Employees may contribute up to 100% of their pre-tax compensation to a 403(b), up to the annual IRS maximum.
Time Off & Holidays
Our employees, in their first year of employment, may accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation and 10 days of paid sick leave per year. The Museum of Flight observes 9 holidays and employees receive one floating holiday.
Employees can earn up to 2 additional days in a calendar year through our Wellness Incentive Program.
