SEATTLE, Dec. 3, 2023—On Dec. 16 at 11 a.m., Sasquatch will arrive at the Museum via helicopter to headline a new art-themed celebration of wintertime, Solstice with Sasquatch. The internationally famous furry friend from the forests will be flown directly to the event by the Washington Department of Natural Resources in its UH-1H Huey helicopter. “Sasquatch is excited beyond words to visit the Museum,” said their publicist. “They also have a special affinity with aviation. Family legend says that over a hundred years ago, Sasquatch’s great grandother personally helped Bill Boeing and his team select the finest woods in the Northwest forests for making their first aircraft. The rest is history.”
