Challenger Learning Center
An experience for students that is out of this world! The Challenger Learning Center is a simulated space mission that uses hands-on, inquiry based activities to engage participants in teamwork, communication, problem-solving and critical thinking.
21st Century Return to the Moon
A crew of astronauts is returning to the Moon for the first time since 1972. Their goal is to select a site for a permanent base and explore the feasibility of off-Earth settlements. If all goes well, the team navigates into lunar orbit, launches an exploratory probe and analyzes data gathered from the lunar surface before selecting the site for Moon Base #1. (Recommended for grades 6 and up)
21st Century Voyage to MarsIn this mission, your group is traveling to Mars to replace a crew of astronauts who have been living there for the past two years. In addition to landing on the Martian surface, the team collects and analyzes geologic samples and launches exploratory probes to the two moons of Mars. (Recommended for grades 5 and up) |
21st Century Rendezvous with a CometIn order to expand our understanding of the Universe, a team of scientists and engineers takes an up-close look at a comet as it streaks across the solar system.
