Britishmania Beatles Tribute Band invites you to take a memorable trip back to the 1960’s to experience the wonderful sound and stage persona of The Beatles! Re-live what it was like to see them during epic periods in their career beginning with the early 1960s then moving to the Sgt. Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour era and finally the Abbey Road/Let it Be era. Britishmania Beatles Tribute has been honorably noted on the “CBS Sunday Morning Show.” As a leading Beatles Tribute Band, Britishmania employs the iconic replica instruments and amplifiers used by The Beatles!

Ticket includes event admission, access to Museum's East Campus and all outdoor activities. Destination Moon access is included as well and is first-come, first-serve. Concert and outdoor activities are in the Museum's parking lot.

 Celebrate with a special one-night-only reunion concert featuring American Idol winner Laine Hardy and the 2019 finalists. AND, a tribute and toast will mark the exact moment Neil Armstrong took his first steps on the lunar surface: at 7:56 PM PST 1969.
July 20, 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing and The Museum of Flight is the only place in the world where visitors can commune with the command module Columbia, the spacecraft flown on humankind’s first journey to the Moon.

Widely considered the most talented group of contestants in the hit show’s 17 year history, American Idol winner Laine Hardy reunites with all of the Top 10 finalists for one night only to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing. VIP Experience (all ages): $300
Limited quantity available.
Our VIP experience begins in the View Lounge with a private bar and appetizers before an exclusive, live performance by American Idol winner Laine Hardy. Guests will also be invited to mingle with the other Top 10 American Idol finalists while listening to a mini-concert from renowned Seattle pianist Walt Wagner. After a champagne toast, VIPs are welcome to front-row seating for the 50th anniversary concert, or they can enjoy the show from a private balcony outside the Lounge.

Ticket includes event admission; concert begins at 8:00 PM, is outside in the Museum's parking lot - open seating is available. The Museum's East Campus and Destination Moon access is included as well, is limited and first-come, first-serve. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Want to know what the future of space exploration will look like? Ask an expert at our Splashdown Sunday Brunch featuring scientists, engineers, and astronauts from NASA and former astronaut Dr. Nicholas Patrick from Blue Origin!
 There will be an expert at every table as you enjoy a gourmet brunch alongside a champagne and Bloody Mary bar to accompany lively discussions about future space missions. The Brunch also features a moderated panel discussion and Next Gen spacecraft presentations focusing on Orion, Space Launch System, Exploration Ground Systems, and spacecraft human factors.

Is it possible to buy a one ticket bundle for all events during the entire weekend (Friday through Sunday)?
Unfortunately not. You can purchase tickets separately for all the events you’d like to attend.
 
Do Members get discounts on tickets for all events during Lunar Block Party weekend?
Members get the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public but there are no special discounts for the main events.
  
Do children get discounts for the 50th Anniversary Concert?
All tickets for the 50th Anniversary Concert are the same price; there are youth tickets available for Flashback Friday.
 
Do the elderly, veterans, or active military get discounts for the 50th Anniversary Concert?
There are no discounts for the main events.
  
Are there special discounts for groups for any of the weekend events?
We’re sorry but there are no group discounts for the main events.
 
Is there a limit to the number of tickets I can purchase at one time for the any of the main events?
Up to eight tickets can be ordered at any one time.
 
What if I cannot attend the event for which I bought tickets?
We are sorry but there will be no refunds available for any of the weekend events.
  
Do I get my money back if there is severe weather that weekend and the events are cancelled?
The events are on rain or shine; no refunds.
  
Do I have to print out my tickets or is it OK to show tickets on my phone to enter?
Printed tickets and tickets on your smartphone will both be accepted. Your tickets will be emailed directly to you after placing your order. Please ensure your email address is correct before placing your order. Treat your tickets as cash as they cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Will there be a security check before entering?
Yes, there will be a required security screening for all guests for Flashback Friday and the 50th Anniversary Concert.
 
Can I bring food/beverages/alcohol into the main events?
No, due to security reasons we cannot allow guests to bring in their own food and drink. Food and drink will be available (some for purchase) at all main events.
 
Can I bring my own chairs, tables, blankets, umbrellas, or coolers into both evening events?
You may bring blankets and low back folding chairs into Flashback Friday. No tall chairs, tables, umbrellas, or coolers will be allowed. For the 50th Anniversary Concert, you may not bring any of the items listed above.
 
Can we bring strollers to the evening events?
Yes, to Flashback Friday only. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate strollers Saturday night at the 50th Anniversary Concert.
 
Can I bring in a camera to record the 50th Anniversary Concert?
No. Professional recordings (cameras with detachable lenses) will not be allowed but guests may certainly bring their own cell phones.
 
Is there re-entry?
For Flashback Friday and the 50th Anniversary Concert, you may not reenter after leaving the grounds. For the Splashdown Sunday Brunch, re-entry is possible.
 

 
Parking + Shuttle Information
 
Where do I park ?
There will be remote parking and shuttle service available. Specifics will be announced closer to the event date.
 
Will there be shuttles to and from the Museum?
Yes, shuttle service will be available all weekend long for daytime and evening events.
 
 

 
During the Event
 
 How early can I get in to the 50th Anniversary Concert?
Doors open at 6:00 PM.
  
Will there be any music or activities for children during the 50th Anniversary Concert?
Saturday night’s performance is suitable for guests of all ages; there are no plans for children only activities or music during the evening. However, our Tranquility Base kids play area inside the Museum will be open.
 
Will there be any on-site child care during the 50th Anniversary Concert?
No.
 
Will it be standing room only for the 50th Anniversary Concert, or are there assigned seats?
Saturday night’s show is an open air concert; there are no assigned seats, it is all open seating. VIP Experience ticket holders will have a reserved section.
 
Do we get to tour Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission during the main events?
Yes, ticket prices for both evening events and the brunch include admission to Destination Moon on a first-come, first-serve basis. Last entrance to the exhibit will be at 10:00 PM both nights. Entrance into the exhibit for the Splashdown Sunday Brunch will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
 
If I don’t use my Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission admission during any of the main events, can I come back and use it later?
No, entrance to Destination Moon is only valid during the event you purchased a ticket for.
 
Will there be American Idol t-shirts or merchandise on sale during the concert, and will the Museum have the merchandise available for purchase before and after the concert?
Yes.
 
Will I have a chance to meet the American Idol singers and get autographs or pose for photos?
A limited number of VIP Experience tickets are available and these do include a meet and greet with the American Idol singers.
 
How do I get a handicap accessible seat?
Special seating and allowances will be made for those with physical disabilities.
  
Will there be places to smoke cigarettes during Lunar Block Party and all main events?
Smoking is prohibited during both evening events. There is a designated smoking area outside the Museum that may be used during normal daytime operating hours.
 
Does the Museum have an ATM onsite?
Yes, an ATM is available in our Main Lobby.

  • Take Exit 158 from I-5.
  • Merge onto S. Boeing Access Rd.
  • Turn right onto E. Marginal Way S.
  • The Museum is on the right, 1/2 mile.

Parking: 

FREE parking is available South of the Museum adjacent to Starbucks off S. Norfolk St. and North of the Museum off S. 92nd Place (Phoenix Drive).

For Friday night, Saturday (all day) and Sunday (all day) ONLY, visitors may park directly across from the Museum off S. 96th Place as well.

Reserved ADA parking is available directly North of the Museum's East Campus.

 

 

Shuttle:

A complimentary shuttle to the Museum will be available for visitors parking in the lot adjacent to Starbucks. Pick-up locations are designated in the lot.

Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission exhibit access is an additional $10 and open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
