U.S. Army Helicopter Pilot Amber Smith visits the Museum to talk about her new book, Danger Close: My Epic Journey as a Combat Helicopter Pilot in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Smith is a former U.S. Army Kiowa Warrior helicopter pilot in command and air mission commander in the 101st Airborne Division, who flew two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. She is a regular guest on national TV networks, analyzing national security, military operations, and foreign policy. Her articles have been widely published in Forbes, Washington Examiner, Aviation Week, and more.
