Concorde, Air Force One join 787 in new Airpark next to Museum on Boeing Field, open to public Feb. 14, Museum opens hour early at 9 a.m. Jan. 31

Photo of Air Force One. SEATTLE, Jan. 27, 2015--The Museum of Flight Airpark is getting a new home, and moving day is Jan. 31. Three aircraft - the Concorde, Air Force One and Lockheed Constellation - will be towed across the street to join the Boeing 787 Dreamliner already parked next to the Museum. Beginning Feb. 14 the Airpark will be conveniently adjacent to the Museum's main entrance facing Boeing Field. A formation with the Concorde, Air Force One and Dreamliner will mark the new Airpark, while the Constellation will be stationed directly in front of the Museum's front door.

The public is invited to watch the planes little journey across the street to their new home beginning at about 7:30 a.m. The Museum will open an hour early - 9 a.m. - for the occasion. The 787 Dreamliner, Concorde and Air Force One are now closed to the public until Feb. 14. Museum visitors from now until the opening of the Airpark will receive a rain check, good for admission to the Airpark anytime after it opens on Feb. 14.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2015, the independent, non-profit Museum of Flight is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, serving more than 560,000 visitors annually. Attractions also include the original Boeing Company factory, and the world's only full-scale NASA Space Shuttle Trainer. The Museum of Flight is located at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158 off Interstate 5 on Boeing Field halfway between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors 65 and older, $17 for active military, $12 for youth 5 to 17, and free for children under 5.
