Four air force crew members recall air combat against Russian MiG jets
SEATTLE, Nov. 3, 2010 - On Nov. 13 the Museum presents a panel of four U.S. Air Force jet crew members who achieved aerial combat victories against Russian-built MiG jet fighters since the 1960s. The speakers in the 2 p.m. program are retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Robert Titus, who earned three aerial combat victories against enemy MiG aircraft during the Vietnam War -- two of them in the F-4 Phantom that is on display at The Museum of Flight; U.S. Air Force Maj. John Madden, who is credited with three aerial MiG combat victories during the Vietnam War; retired U.S. Air Force Col. Chuck DeBellevue, recognized for his six aerial MiG combat victories during the Vietnam War as an F-4 Weapon Systems Officer -- two of them while flying with Maj. Madden; and U.S. Air Force Col. Cesar Rodriguez, an F-15 pilot with three aerial combat victories -- two during Operation Desert Storm and one while on duty over Kosovo.
The program will be in the William M. Allen Theater, and is free with admission to the Museum.

The Museum of Flight is located at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158 off Interstate 5 on Boeing Field half-way between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for active military, $8 for youth 5 to 17, and free for children under 5.
