How can I make a gift to The Museum of Flight?

You can contribute cash, marketable securities, or real property. You can also give via credit card.


Does the Museum donate admission passes for fundraisers?

Yes. Please see our donation policy.


Is my gift deductible on my taxes?

Yes. The Museum of Flight is a fully accredited tax-exempt organization, tax ID number 91-0785826.

Please note that not all membership gifts are tax deductible, but some levels do have a tax deductible portion.  Please consult the Membership levels page to see which levels have a tax deductible portion. 


Are there naming and commemorative opportunities at the Museum?

Yes. Gifts of $1,000 or more are listed in our annual report and on appropriate donor honor walls. Gifts of $50,000 are eligible for space or area naming. Air and spacecraft are eligible to be sponsored which includes naming at the exhibit.


Can I support a particular program, exhibit, or aircraft?

Yes. Donor designated gifts are honored fully.


Is The Museum of Flight eligible for corporate matching gifts?

Yes, in most cases, the Museum is eligible. Please check with your employer. Companies who have made matching gifts to the Museum in the past are listed on our Matching Gifts page. 


Can I give to the Museum through my company’s United Way drive?

Yes. You must write in The Museum of Flight on your gift designation form. United Way forwards your gift minus an administrative fee to the Museum.


Does the Museum accept artifact donations?

Yes. Please see our artifact donation page for more information and to fill out a questionnaire regarding the artifact you are interested in donating.
