Yes, a delectable, edible airplane! Make your dad a version of the "sweetest" plane in our collection, the Wible Plane. This is a plane that you have to see and taste to believe. Special thanks to Wings Aloft for their support with the edible airplane supplies. Help dad recapture his youth with some old-fashioned paper airplane building fun! Together you can make our Delta Wing Super Flyer, Amazing Flying Ring, and other great flying gliders.

Family LEGO® Experience
All Day, Great Gallery

Immerse yourself in the world of LEGO® with hands-on activities and a special display by the official "LEGO®Man."

Tip-to-Tail Tour: Boeing WB-47E Stratojet
11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Outside of the Museum's main entrance

Museum docents will lead personal tours of the Museum's B-47 bomber. The B-47 Stratojet remains one of the most important aircraft ever designed by The Boeing Company. More than 50 years ago, the B-47 emerged as the world's first large multi-engine swept-wing airplane--a design configuration that became the standard for all modern jetliners.

Flying Gizmos Show
Noon, William M. Allen Theater

Celebrate flight at the Museum's Flying Gizmos Show! The Flying Gizmos Show is a fun and engaging demonstration of all kinds of little flying machines. This presentation is designed to help youth discover the science, engineering and history of flight through fun flying toys and models. The show begins with the invention of the kite more than 2,000 years ago, and continues through the age of space vehicles with a real flying saucer!

Biplane Rides
Experience flight in open cockpit airplane. The Museum is home base for Olde Thyme Aviation, offering scenic rides in classic, vintage biplanes over Seattle and Puget Sound. Rides vary in length from 15 to 90 minutes with a choice of seven routes.
