2014 Spirit of Flight Photography Exhibition

The Museum of Flight is once again accepting submissions for its annual Spirit of Flight juried photography exhibition. Exhibit participation is open to all photographers, and photographs need only reflect the photographer's interpretation of the "Spirit of Flight". A jury of museum staff and volunteers will select a number of photographs to go on display in the Museum's Great Gallery. The show will run from June 6 - August 31, 2014.

The Museum will also select three prize-winning images from the show to feature in the Museum magazine, Aloft. Each of the prize-winning photographers will also receive a one year membership to the Museum. 

 

How to Enter:

Entry for the 2014 Spirit of Flight will open on January 2, 2014.

  1. Download and review the Call for Entries here(Returning photographers, please look this over as it provides details on the changes we made this year.)
  2. Submit your photos online. All entries can be submitted through the Museum's contest page at SmarterEntry.com. First-time users will be required to set up a free SmarterEntry account. The contest entry fee can then be submitted along with photo images by selecting "purchase competitions" at the bottom of the Museum's contest page.
