Women Fly! 2012 Panel Discussion

It is time once again for the Museum of Flight’s annual exploration of the roles of women in aviation and aerospace with a panel discussion with notable women. Two special guests will take the stage Saturday afternoon.
- Former astronaut Capt. Wendy Lawrence (USN, Ret.), a veteran of four space flights, including STS-114 Discovery, the Return to Flight mission. Capt. Lawrence is a former helicopter pilot, an engineer, and was the first female graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy to fly in space.
- Lt. Commander Nora Jacobsen is an International Overwater Aircraft Commander, Instructor and Maintenance Check Pilot for the C-9B Nightingale, a medium-range aircraft used primarily for aeromedical evacuation missions.
This program is included with Museum admission and is Free for members of the Museum of Flight.
