The Museum recognizes the contributions of America’s veterans at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony. The events begin on the eleventh hour of the eleventh month with chamber music performed by the internationally touring bass and cello duo, Bottom Line Duo. The Boeing Employees’ Concert Band will perform patriotic music from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. ceremony featuring Museum officials, City of Tukwila Mayor Jim Haggerton, City of Tukwila Councilmembers, distinguished veterans, and the Civil Air Patrol Overlake Squadron color guard. There will also special programs for youth, adults and families. On Veterans Day all U.S. veterans and current U.S. military personnel will be admitted to the Museum free of charge.
