The U.S. Navy Torpedo Squadron 3 flew from the USS Yorktown during WWII, providing air cover for the landings at Iwo Jima and being the first carrier based planes to bomb Tokyo. Members of this storied unit are in town for their annual reunion, and will take the time to tell Museum visitors stories of air combat over the Pacific.
