Since 1997, Space Day has celebrated the extraordinary achievements, benefits, and opportunities specific to the exploration of space! This year the Museum's celebration of Space Day coincides with the 50th anniversary of the first American in space, Alan Shepard. The Museum is proud to once again participate in this national and global effort to nurture young peoples’ enthusiasm for the wonders of the Universe through special space-related activities, scheduled throughout the evening.
All Space Day programs are free with Museum admission, free of charge from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. courtesy of Wells Fargo.
