Pan Am was the first airline to fly the Boeing 747

The Museum is home to one of the most significant airplanes in history—the Boeing 747 prototype. Join us as we celebrate this aircraft on Saturday, Nov. 19 with 747 flights in our Aviation Learning Center, a special exhibit of 747 artifacts from the Museum collection and the Boeing Archives, and a 2 p.m. program with 747 pilots and Boeing Historian Mike Lombardi.
