Challenger Learning Center Public Missions – A Unique Experience For Families

Join a space mission that will take you and your family to Mars!  The Challenger Learning Center is an imersive simulation, where you will be inside a spacecraft solving problems to guide the mission forward.  The fate of the mission rests in your hands!

Voyage to Mars - Mini

In this mission, your group is traveling to Mars to replace a crew of astronauts who have been living there for the past two years. In addition to landing on the Martian surface, the team collects and analyzes geologic samples, and launches exploratory probes to the moon Deimos.


Dates:             March 21st                  pre-register by March 13th

                       May 9th                      pre-register by May 1st

                       June 20th                    pre-register by June 12th

                       September 12th             pre-register by September 4th        

                       November 14th           pre-register by November 6th

Cost:               $15 per participant (Museum admission not included. Adult chaperones may observe the program free of charge, but non-members must purchase separate museum admission.)

Audience:      Ages 10 and up. Youth under 16 years old must be accompanied by adult participant. One adult minimum per 5 youth.

All participants must be able to read at a 5th grade level, have basic computer skills and be familiar with email.
