This panel discussion looks at a little-known Cold War spyplane program run by the Taiwanese Air Force in cooperation with the United States military. Lockheed Martin engineer Li Wang, will discuss the Taiwanese Air Force 35th Squadron, the "Black Cat Squadron," that flew Lockheed U-2s on secret reconnaissance missions over mainland China during the 1960s and early 1970s. Wang will be joined by veteran Taiwanese pilot Capt. Johnny Shen. The program is free with admission to the Museum.
