Scheduled events: 1 to 2 p.m.: Armed Forces Flag Ceremony – Side Gallery

2 to 4 p.m.: "Stories of Courage" program featuring Capt. Brian Jordan, one of only two United States Marines to receive the British Distinguished Flying Cross since World War II. Capt. Jordan received the honor for his June 21, 2012 actions during a rescue operation while deployed in Afghanistan.

4 to 5:30 p.m.: Showing of the movie “4-4-43” followed by Q&A with writer of the movie – William M. Allen Theater. Narrated by decorated Vietnam veteran/Hollywood actor Capt. Dale Dye (USMC), the film is an epic, educational and entertaining true adventure tale of the only large-scale escape of U.S. prisoners-of-war in the Pacific Theater during World War II and their fight to tell their story to the world told through the eyes of the remarkable unknown hero – Col. Dyess, an aviation legend of the Pacific war – that was largely responsible for it all. An HD trailer of the film is available for viewing here:   http://vimeo.com/82324903.

6 to 8 p.m.: Showing of film “Honor Flight” (www.honorflightthemovie.com) – William M. Allen Theater.
