On Saturday, July 12, The Museum of Flight celebrates the 98th anniversary of the founding of The Boeing Company with a day-long celebration of the aerospace giant’s rich history. An entire day of public tours, led by expert Museum docents, will focus on the definitive eras of the company and the aircraft in the Museum’s collection that represent them.
Schedule of Boeing Founder’s Day public tours:
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: The Red Barn and a historical overview of Boeing’s legacy
11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.: The Early Years: 1916 through the 1930s: Carrying the mail, early airliners and the Spoils Conferences
1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: The War Years
2:45 to 3:45 p.m.: Commercial Jets: 707 through the 787
These tours are offered free to Museum members and are free with daily admission to The Museum of Flight.
