Join us for a very special day of events dedicated to the intertwined--and historically significant--histories of the American Volunteer Group and the China National Aviation Corporation in China during the 1930s and 1940s. In attendance will be the legendary pilot (and first airline pilot in mainland China) Moon Fun Chin, who also flew Jimmy Doolittle out of China after the daring US raid on Japan in April 1942. Also, author of the aviation history best-seller "China's Wings", Gregory Crouch, will be at the Museum to discuss and sign copies of his book. Other speakers include authors Keith Lee and Nancy Wright, both of who will offer fascinating insight on the history of Chinese aviation of the early 20th century. Special tip-to-tail tours of key aircraft will also be included with the day's events!

11:00AM: AVG Program- Panel discussion in the William Allen Theater with Keith Lee and Key Donn
1:30PM: Tip-to-tail tour of the Museum’s DC-2 , provided by DC-2 Pilot Gene Vezzetti
2:30PM: CNAC Program- Panel discussion in the William Allen Theater with Nancy Wright, Moon Chin, and Gregory Crouch
4:00PM: Book signing in the Museum Lobby with the authors

These programs are free for Museum members and free with daily admission to the Museum of Flight
