American Fighter Aces Association 54th Annual Reunion
Location:Museum of Flight
The Museum of Flight is proud to host the annual reunion of the American Fighter Aces Association (AFAA), an organization founded in 1960 as the official association of the almost 1450 pilots in US history (from WWI through Vietnam) to achieve the status of "ace" by shooting down at least five enemy aircraft in combat. The AFAA has called the Museum of Flight home for over a decade, and this year a number of these aces and other members of the organization will be in Seattle. If you would like to be a part of this very special event and have the chance to meet and talk with these bonafide American heroes, you may first join the AFAA as a Friend of the Fighter Aces (for an application, visit here) and then sign up to officially attend the reunion, which includes events here at the Museum and at the host hotel, the Doubletree at SeaTac Airport. Join us for this incredible event and meet some of the most famous pilots in history!
