A Unique Experience For Families
A family experience that is out of this world! The Challenger Learning Center is a simulated space mission that uses hands-on, inquiry based activities to engage participants in teamwork, communication, problem-solving and critical thinking.
Voyage to Mars
In this mission, your group is traveling to Mars to replace a crew of astronauts who have been living there for the past two years. In addition to landing on the Martian surface, the team collects and analyzes geologic samples, and launches exploratory probes to the two moons of Mars.
Saturday, Nov. 30 --pre-register by Nov. 22
Friday, Dec. 27 --re-register by Dec. 20
Time: 10 - 11 am
Cost: $8 per participant (Museum admission not included).
(Adult chaperones may observe the program free of charge, but non-members must purchase separate museum admission.)
Audience: Ages 10 and up. Youth under 16 years old must be accompanied by adult participant. One adult minimum per 5 youth.
Pre-requisites: Ability to read at a 5th grade level and have basic computer skills. Familiarity with email.

Cancellation policy: A full refund will be made if you cancel at least 3 working days prior to the program. No refund will be made after that date. There are no partial refunds. This program requires a minimum number of participants. You will be notified, and a full refund issued, if this event is cancelled.
