Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Join the Museum of Flight as it honors the 72nd anniversary of the Imperial Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. From 2:30-3:30pm, the Museum's Senior Curator, Dan Hagedorn, and Museum Staff Member and Historian JD Wyneken will recount an overview of the attack and highlight the aviation-specific issues and effects of that day. At 3:30, the Museum will show a live stream of the memorial ceremonies on board the USS Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor. This program is a joint venture between the Museum of Flight and the Pacific Aviation Museum at Pearl Harbor.
The Museum also invites any visitors who were alive on December 7, 1941 to attend the program and share their memories of that day, no matter how old they were or where they may have been.
