Royal Aeronautical Society Lecture Looks at New Navigation Tools

Michael Hess, Business Development Executive with Jeppesen, will be the speaker at the Royal Aeronautical Society meeting at The Museum of Flight on May 15 at 6:30 p.m. Hess will present “The Evolution of Aeronautical Data – From Little Black Books to Little Black Tablets,” a lecture showing how a 75-year tradition of using printed charts and data in the cockpit is becoming history. He will explain how this paper to digital transition has progressed over the last several years and how it will accelerate with the advent of the tablet.
The program is free, and is preceded by a social meeting at 6 p.m.
