The Museum of Flight is home to the American Fighter Aces Association, founded to recognize the 1,442 combat pilots that have received the special designation of “ace.” Join us for this panel of aces and combat pilots who will share their remarkable stories of heroism.

Our guests will include Col. Abner Aust, Jr., a Pacific Air War ace with 8 aircraft destroyed, and Navy ace Donald McPherson, who downed 5 planes. Joining them will be William "Al" Bailey, who flew photo recon missions in the P-38.

We will be giving away a print of "Showdown Over Berriere" by Roy Grinnell (information here) after the program. Entry forms will be available prior, and you must be present to win.

This program is included with Museum admission and is free for members of the Museum of Flight.
