Fossett Adventurers

Students will learn how the shape of a bug's wing affects its flight.  Using a variety of hands on activities, they will discover the world of insect flight.

Fossett Engineers

In this interactive program, participants discover how airplane parts work together, experience imagination-fueled flights in one of the Flight Zone’s many real aircraft, and assemble and test model gliders.

Fossett Captains

Through hands on explorations, students investigate pushes and pulls, balance and the four forces of flight.

Fossett Designers

Students explore the four forces of flight, the properties of air and different wing designs, then build and test their own balsa wood gliders.

Fossett Explorers *Still in beta testing*

With Steve Fossett's Perlan Glider as the focal point, students will learn about the layers of our atmosphere, explore the effects of high altitude flight on the human body and test their glider engineering skills.
