The Aerospace Camp Experience (ACE) has exciting programs and activities, caring and knowledgeable staff, and a world-class museum to explore. Only with The Museum of Flight can campers launch rockets, create aircraft, experience microgravity, build robots, and pilot actual airplanes. About ACE

The Museum of Flight's Aerospace Camp Experience is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited day camp for the child who is excited about aerospace and aviation! The Aerospace Camp Experience is the recipient of the ACA Gordie Hamilton Award for Excellence in Camping Programming. For 2015 we have eight different programs: 

  • Solar Travelers half day camp for campers going into grades pre K (at least 4 years old) - K  (AM or PM sessions available) 
  • Flight Camp for campers going into grades K - 1
  • Orbital Pioneers for campers going into grades - 3
  • Aerospace Explorers for campers going into grades 4 - 5
  • Planetary Voyagers for campers going into grades 6 - 7
  • Advanced Camp for campers going into grades - 9
  • Galactic Rovers *NEW for 2015* for campers going into grades 5-7 (Paine Field Camps Only)
  • Counselor Apprentice Program (CAP): a volunteer opportunity for students going into grades 10 - 12

ATTENTION MUSEUM MEMBERS: Due to a problem with our registration software provider, if you are registering for more than one camp session you may find that your membership discount is only being applied to a single camp session.  Should this occur, simply complete your registration and then notify us in the ACE office and we will add your discount to your remaining session.  We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you this summer!

Camp Information


All full day camp sessions run Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Half-day camp sessions run Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (AM Sessions) and 1 p.m. through 4 p.m. (PM Sessions).

Extended Care

Extended Care is available from 7 - 9 a.m.Monday – Friday and 4 - 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday. There is no afternoon Extended Care on Fridays. Campers in extended care are supervised by our Extended Care staff and will play games, read books, draw, color, and participate in other activities. Cost: A.M or P.M. only: $40; A.M. & P.M. - $70

Campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation. Contact the ACE Coordinator concerning campers with special needs or physical restrictions prior to registration. The Museum of Flight strives to accommodate all children within the constraints of our facility and our programs.
