Program is appropriate for ages 9 and up.

Go back in time with a Docent led tour of our Personal Courage Wing featuring our WWI and WWII galleries. Our Docent will tell you about the planes that flew but more important, about the pilots that flew them. After your lunch break (included in the price of admissions) you will experience dogfights and more in our Aviation Learning Center flight simulation lab. See who has bragging rights, Mom, Dad or the kids!

While the 3-day Technical Conference Program allows for full immersion into the issues of a Space Elevator, we realize many of you would like to learn more about the Space Elevator but are unable to commit to the entire weekend. Perhaps your kids would like to be involved as well. We're offering something for everyone again this year. Check out what's happening this year at the 2012 Space Elevator Conference Family Science Fest!

Commemorate the birth of Giovanni Domenico Cassini and learn about this famed astronomer, mathematician and engineer. Throughout the day, festivities will include astronomical activities and games, presentations about NASA’s Cassini mission, and planetarium shows!

Even though you may have never heard of John Couch Adams, his discoveries have helped shape modern astronomy. Celebrate his birthday in our planetarium and go on a tranquil trip through the astronomical world of this low key yet important astronomer.
